About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Level 1 Low Voltage Technician to support a hyperscale project and install and maintain low-voltage communication systems. This onsite contract position is based in Lebanon, Indiana. It offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with telecommunications and network infrastructure in commercial and industrial environments, working alongside experienced professionals and supporting safe, quality-focused job-site operations.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training in electrical systems, telecommunications, networking, structured cabling, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems and communications infrastructure.
• Experience working with fiber-optic and copper cabling.
• Understanding of conduit installation and bending techniques.

Responsibilities

• Install and support fiber-optic and copper cabling systems.
• Assist with structured cabling and network infrastructure projects.
• Mount equipment, install racks, and manage cabling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Support installations of CCTV and surveillance systems, access control systems, security infrastructure, and telecommunications equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity and cabling issues.
• Maintain safe work practices on active job sites.
• Assist with warehouse operations, material preparation, and inventory handling as needed.
