About The Position

Prime Connected is a national low voltage company with over 20 years of experience supporting the healthcare industry. We install and support systems like: Patient monitoring, Nurse call systems, Structured cabling (cat/fiber), and Emerging healthcare technology. Our technicians work in active hospital environments, helping install the systems that healthcare teams rely on every day. This is a hands-on, field-based role. You will install and terminate category cable and fiber, work in hospitals (including ceilings, IDF/MDF rooms, and patient areas), read prints and follow project scope, test, label, and document cabling installs, and work with a team to complete projects on time and on budget. Technicians will also travel to job sites as needed, primarily local with some overnight travel.

Requirements

• Experience with structured cabling (cat cable and/or fiber)
• Ability to work in active job site environments (ladders, ceilings, physical work)
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work independently when needed
• Good communication with team members and leadership
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background checks required for hospital work
• Willingness to complete required vaccinations for healthcare environments
• Ability to distinguish colors (for cabling)
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English
