Low Voltage Instructor / Alarm Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking an instructor for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Denver. The role is intended for experienced low-voltage, fire-alarm, or security-alarm professionals who want to teach and inspire students. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry experts as they transition into teaching. The instructor provides practical, hands-on education in a well-equipped, climate-controlled training facility and delivers Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum. The role also emphasizes safety, industry regulations, student development, and preparation for careers in the electrical and electronics systems industry. The position offers a four-day work week with three-day weekends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: low-voltage electrical work, fire-alarm or fire-detection systems, security or intrusion alarm systems, CCTV and access-control installation and configuration, audio/video installation and repair, motor/access/lighting control systems, telecommunications, or fiber optics.
- Proficiency in installing and programming wired and wireless intrusion systems.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
- High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
