About The Position

At IK Systems, we're seeking a Technician II to deliver best-in-class installation and service for critical security and life safety systems. This role involves installing and servicing large-scale, networked low-voltage security systems, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and structured cabling. You will also support integrated solutions such as life safety, audio-visual, building automation, and endpoint security. Collaboration with project teams is key to ensure systems are delivered on time and to the highest standards. The role also includes troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing systems to meet customer needs, and representing IK Systems as a trusted partner on-site by building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in low-voltage installation and service
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel (<25% nationally)

Responsibilities

• Install and service large-scale, networked low-voltage security systems, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and structured cabling
• Support integrated solutions such as life safety, audio-visual, building automation, and endpoint security
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure systems are delivered on time and to the highest standards
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems to meet customer needs
• Represent IK Systems as a trusted partner on-site, building strong customer relationships
