About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in or around Fairfax, IA. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $62/hour based on experience plus $150/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the Jobsite. Requirements
- Must possess a current Iowa Journeyman Electrician License or a reciprocal Journeyman License from one of the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin & Wyoming
- Candidates using a reciprocal license must register with the State of Iowa and provide proof of 16,000 hours worked in the licensed state
- Must have experience with commercial or industrial electrical installations
- Must have own tools
- Must be reliable and able to work a consistent schedule
Responsibilities
- Install raceways for low-voltage electrical systems
- Pull and route electrical cable
- Perform electrical terminations
- Install cable bus and busway systems
- Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all site safety standards and procedures
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules and production goals
