About The Position

Individual working on a team delivering the successful installation, start-up, and operation of digital (DDC), electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic HVAC control components. Individual will work under the direction of a BAS technician.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Five (5)+ years of experience preferred
  • Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocols
  • Develops a basic understanding of Ohm’s Law
  • Understands the basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Develops basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
  • Understands the basics of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
  • Understands the basics of variable and constant volume air flows.
  • Possesses basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
  • Identifies and resolves problems in timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
  • Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret information
