About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking Electrical Instructors for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Mahwah, New Jersey. Instructors deliver practical, hands-on training in a fully equipped facility and teach Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum. They prepare students for careers in the electrical and electronics systems industry by teaching safety and compliance, supporting student development, evaluating progress, and providing feedback. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry professionals transitioning into teaching. The role offers a four-day work week.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in the residential, commercial, or industrial electrical industry.
Experience installing and servicing electrical equipment.
Understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems.
Knowledge of electrical codes.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of motor controls, lighting controls, or solar.
Experience with or knowledge of low-voltage systems.
Teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver practical, hands-on instruction in Electrical and Electronics Systems using the facility’s equipment.
Teach the Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum and support students’ understanding of electrical systems.
Teach safety procedures and industry regulations.
Encourage professionalism, accountability, and continuous development among students.
Assess student performance and communicate feedback to guide improvement.
Equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue careers in the electrical and electronics systems industry.
