About The Position

Raytheon is an industry leader in Stealth Technology, involved in all phases of development, production, and maintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems. This role focuses on cutting-edge projects, developing next-generation materials, and integrating advanced signature control techniques into defense systems. The position is located in Tucson, AZ and is an onsite role.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Experience performing RCS measurement/testing, prediction, and/or design
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high temperature RCS reduction techniques
  • Experience with Infrared signature analysis and reduction techniques
  • Experience in Laser Cross Section reduction techniques
  • Experience using industry standard computational electromagnetic (CEM) codes such as SENTRi & XPATCH
  • Advanced Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

Responsibilities

  • Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and test
  • Work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products and aid in the assessment of system level performance.
  • Proposal Writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development.
  • Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
