About The Position

We are seeking a Low-Code/No-Code MES Developer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This hybrid role involves designing, developing, configuring, testing, and deploying manufacturing execution system (MES) components using low-code/no-code platforms. You will be responsible for building applications that support various manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and supply chain workflows, as well as configuring and troubleshooting integrations between MES and other site systems. A strong understanding of GxP, GMP, and data integrity requirements is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Hands-on build/configuration experience with an MES platform, Apprentice Tempo strongly preferred (PAS X, Syncade, POMS, or similar considered), including workflow/procedure authoring.
• Demonstrated delivery of low code/no code applications (Apprentice Tempo forms, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate, or comparable) in production environments.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems integration, MES, LIMS, ERP (SAP), including APIs, interfaces, and data mapping.
• Understanding of GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation basics (GAMP 5).

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a greenfield facility startup or greenfield MES deployment.
• Familiarity with warehouse/inventory and lab processes, cycle counts, receiving, bin to bin transfers, scrapping, shipping, sampling, and chain of custody handling.
• Exposure to SAP MM/PP/QM and LIMS platforms (LabWare, LabVantage, or similar).
• Basic scripting/SQL for troubleshooting and interface debugging.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Apprentice platform certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy Apprentice Tempo procedures, workflows, master batch records, digital logbooks, and digital forms.
• Build and deploy low code/no code applications (Apprentice Tempo, PowerApps/Power Automate, or comparable) supporting manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and supply chain workflows, e.g. cycle counts, receiving, inventory adjustment/scrapping, material requests, sample chain of custody logs, shipping, bin to bin transfers, and cleaning logs.
• Develop reusable components, templates, and configuration standards to accelerate future low code development across the site.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations and data flows between MES, LIMS, ERP (SAP), and other site systems (APIs, interfaces, data mapping).
• Support test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts as needed for builds.
• Ensure builds comply with GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity (ALCOA+) requirements.
• Serve as an internal technical resource, providing knowledge transfer and training to site engineers on low code development and integration practices.
