About The Position

The North Carolina Department of IT – Transportation (NCDIT-T) is seeking an Expert-Level Low-Code Application Developer to support the upgrade and development of an existing Geotechnical Application and future projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of expert-level experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially migrating existing applications/solutions.
• Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL/T-SQL, including SELECT, INSERT, DELETE, and related queries.
• Strong application architecture, design, development, and deployment skills.
• Experience deploying solutions and working within Power Platform Environments.
• Strong planning, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions within Power Platform environments.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps or other Agile tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, debug, optimize, and maintain Power Platform solutions.
• Build scalable applications and automate business processes.
• Analyze and document requirements, data models, workflows, integrations, and business processes.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and solution designs.
• Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and enhance applications and automated processes.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Support change management, releases, testing, and training.
• Collaborate with technical leads, project teams, analysts, developers, IT management, and business users.
