ON Call Bartender Description Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware. Ensure compliance with all alcohol serving laws and company policies. Provide prompt, courteous service to guests, engaging with them to create a welcoming atmosphere. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately; follow opening and closing procedures. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act responsibly to prevent over-service Assist with inventory counts and restocking when necessary. Work closely with the event team and other staff to ensure smooth service during events. Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. Requirements: Proven bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or event setting. Current alcohol service certification (as required by local laws). Excellent Communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Must be at least 21 years of age (or legal serving age in NYC). Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes. Experience with POS systems. Bilingual skills a plus. Previous experience in event environments. Working Conditions: This is an on-call position with no guaranteed hours. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs. Shifts may include late nights, holidays, and weekends.
