About The Position

The Lounge Host is responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and providing excellent customer service in the lounge bar area. This role ensures a smooth guest experience by coordinating reservations, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with general operations while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, follow directions, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and perform light physical tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and seating arrangements.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of bar and lounge operations preferred, but not required.
Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a friendly smile and assist with seating arrangements in the lounge bar area.
Provide guests with menus and communicate promotions, seasonal offerings, and general bar knowledge.
Monitor lounge activity to determine seating availability and manage guest flow efficiently.
Utilize the reservation system to manage reservations, update seating charts, and assist with inquiries.
Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the lounge for service.
Assist with side work, such as folding silverware and maintaining cleanliness in the lounge area.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and resolve any immediate concerns.
Answer telephone calls, handle reservations, and transfer calls as necessary.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments during special events or peak service periods.
Thank guests as they leave, invite them to return, and relay guest feedback to the manager on duty.
Ensure compliance with dress code and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
