About The Position
The Lounge Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar, stocking all necessary beverages and supplies, and performing closing duties which include cleaning the bar and lounge area. This role involves greeting and engaging with guests in a courteous and friendly manner, and adhering to all legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages with prudent portion control.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of bartending experience required
- Flexible availability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends
- Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written
- Comfortable in working with computers for cashiering duties
- Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
- Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- TABC and Food Handler certification required
Responsibilities
- Set up bar, requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits and paper products
- Perform all closing duties including cleaning the bar and lounge area
- Greet and engage with guests at the bar and lounge area in a courteous and friendly manner
- Abide by all state, federal and hotel requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages and practice prudent portion control
