Requirements

  • Available and flexible to work on various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Excellent communication in English, spoken and written.
  • Bartending experience.
  • Passionate about customer service and must have relevant work experience in the F&B industry.
  • Smart Serve and Food Handlers Certificate
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Attentive to detail and numerate.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply a flexible approach when required.
  • Communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to use computers and knowledge to work with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good organisational skills and the Ability to prioritise.
  • Positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Passenger agent experience or equivalent experience in the aviation field is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Always provide the passengers with an exceptional level of customer service
  • Greet passengers as they enter the Lounge and introduce them to all aspects of the Lounge product, advising them of all available services and helping to maintain customer loyalty.
  • Liaise with service providers and supervise contracted staff, overseeing catering, cleaning, and maintenance operations, so that service standards are met and maintained.
  • Proactively assist operational staff to ensure passenger needs are met by undertaking seat changes, issuing boarding cards, checking in transit passengers, and reservation changes
  • Keep all passengers in the lounge informed regarding their flight departure and any other information about their flight.
  • Provide information about the airport and its facilities (Flight schedules and airline information, directions to the departure gates, etc.) to the customers.
  • Responsible for restocking shelves and coolers; assisted with inventory check.
  • Collect dirties and support the back of the house, and ensure washroom checks are done.
  • Prepare and handle duties, to monitor the alcoholic consumption of customers.
  • Help serve customers in different areas of the lounge and bar.
  • Carry out regular checks of all areas of the lounge to ensure a professional image and follow up with maintenance works.
  • Ensure that proper cleaning procedures are adhered to, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is always worn during the shift. Employees are expected to follow all health and safety regulations, enforced and updated by the company.
  • Answer phone calls and perform other duties assigned as directed by the Lounge Supervisor.
