About The Position

Voss Village BMW is hiring a Lot Technician to clean and refurbish new and used automobiles in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances. The role also includes preparing vehicles for the sales lot, keeping the lot neat and orderly, installing Voss license plates, inspecting vehicles and reporting issues to the manager, and posting pricing stickers. Other duties may be assigned by management. The position is described as full-time. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM; Friday off; and Saturday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver's license with a solid driving record.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking, squatting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Willingness to follow corporate policies and maintain high service quality standards.

Responsibilities

Work toward guaranteeing ultimate customer service and satisfaction.
Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down door jambs.
Apply wax to auto bodies and buff surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and devices.
Apply revitalizing and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
Clean engines and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
Use special-purpose cleaners to remove materials that normal cleaning procedures do not remove, following product manufacturer recommendations.
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, including dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
Detail vehicles being placed on the lot.
Keep the sales lot neat and orderly.
Install Voss license plates.
Inspect vehicles on the lot and report issues to the manager.
Post pricing stickers.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
