About The Position

The Lot Technician maintains a clean, professional lot appearance and organized vehicle inventory. The role follows established lot processes and supports the Sales Team, Sales Manager, Inventory Manager, and Recon Team with vehicle location and maintenance. Responsibilities include detailing sold vehicles for customer delivery and helping foster a positive culture and work environment aligned with the organization’s mission and values. The position may also support landscaping, snow and ice removal, vehicle and customer shuttling, and other assigned projects and duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in sales and/or a detail shop is preferred.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles for delivery after they are sold.
Assist with landscaping and snow or ice removal when necessary.
Follow lot processes established by the Manager; walk the lot and showroom daily, remove trash, and check inventory condition.
Wipe down showroom vehicles weekly, ensure they are neatly aligned, and adjust them when needed.
Organize and execute weekly lot rodeos.
Update the lot inventory checklist each morning and notify the Manager when it is complete.
Follow up on vehicle issues or missing items found during vehicle checks.
Fill vehicles with gas when needed.
Shuttle vehicles and customers between shops and dealerships as assigned.
Complete department-specific project assignments at the direction of Leadership.
Complete assigned opening or closing duties based on the scheduled shift.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
