About The Position

The Lot Porter is responsible for moving bikes to maintain display and support sales, picking up and delivering bikes as required, washing and maintaining vehicles as needed, cleaning and maintaining the lot and showroom, and preparing vehicles for delivery. Additional duties include unlocking/locking service bay gates and back gates, turning the compressor on and off daily, maintaining the gas caddy, helping keep the warehouse organized, taking out trash daily, sweeping and maintaining shop and wash areas, keeping service areas free of trash and debris, cleaning and washing all units (new and used) before sale or pickup, building all units, removing crates to specific areas, prepping units (new and used), test riding units, unloading inventory off trucks, taking used tires to dumpsters, making deliveries/pickups for sales and service customers, and maintaining both trucks (washing, cleaning, and servicing).

• Must be able to drive forklift (certified)

Responsibilities

• Move bikes to maintain display and support sales
• Pick up and deliver bikes as required
• Wash and maintain vehicles as needed
• Clean and maintain lot and showroom
• Prepare vehicles for delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Unlock/lock service bay gates and back gates in the AM and/or PM
• Turn compressor on and off daily
• Maintain gas caddy
• Help keep the warehouse organized
• Take all trash and trash cans out of service daily
• Sweep and maintain shop areas/wash area
• Help keep the service areas free and clear of trash and crate debris
• Clean/wash all units new and used before they are sold and/or picked up
• Build all units
• Remove metal/wood crates to the specific areas
• Prep units/new and used
• Test ride units
• Unload inventory off trucks
• Take used tires out to the dumpsters
• Delivery/pickups for sales and service customers
• Maintain both trucks (washing, cleaning, and stay up on servicing needs)
