About The Position

The Lot Porter is responsible for moving vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, enhance customer convenience, and maintain an orderly parking area. This role may involve replenishing vehicle fluids, performing minor vehicle assistance, keeping vehicle lots neat and orderly, and driving vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking lots. The Lot Porter will also be responsible for making key tags for vehicles and ensuring the cleanliness of the dealership premises, including driveways and sidewalks. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is mandatory, along with immediate reporting of any accidents. The position also involves assisting customers with questions and directing them to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

Replenish all vehicle fluids as needed.
Perform other minor vehicle assistance.
Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
Make key tags for vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Move vehicles to maintain flow of traffic.
Assist customers with questions and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain cleanliness of the dealership.
