About The Position

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is looking for a Lot Porter-Driver to join their Service Department team in Flagstaff, AZ. This role is crucial for the customer check-in process, involving driving trucks between the service area and repair garage, and returning them for customer pickup. The position also includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of trucks on the lot and the lot itself, conducting weekly inventory checks, performing local deliveries, and acting as a liaison between the sales and service/body shop departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent required.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Driving trucks from the customer service area to the service repair garage and back.
Maintaining the trucks on the lot clean and visually appealing.
Keeping the lot in a clean and marketable condition.
Conducting weekly inventory checks, including starting and running vehicles.
Handling local deliveries.
Acting as a liaison between the sales department and the service/body shop.
Performing additional tasks as required by the department.
Performing minor mechanical repairs as needed.
