About The Position

Hutchinson Automotive Group is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Lot Photographer / Inventory Merchandising Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for photographing and maintaining the digital presentation of new and used vehicle inventory across two dealership locations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working outdoors, has a strong eye for detail, and understands that high-quality vehicle photography plays an important role in generating online customer engagement and sales. This is more than simply taking pictures. You will play an important role in making sure our inventory is properly photographed, accurately represented, and professionally presented online.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive photography experience is preferred but not required.
• Photography, automotive, dealership, inventory, merchandising, detailing or digital marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Photograph new and used vehicles at both dealership locations.
• Complete professional exterior and interior photo sets for each vehicle.
• Capture required details including: Front, rear and side exterior views, Interior Dashboard and odometer, Wheels and tires, Engine compartment when appropriate, Vehicle features and equipment, Any noticeable damage or imperfections on used vehicles.
• Ensure the correct photos are assigned to the correct vehicle/VIN.
• Maintain consistent photo quality, lighting, angles and presentation.
• Keep inventory photography current as vehicles arrive, are reconditioned, detailed and become photo-ready.
• Identify vehicles missing photos and prioritize them for completion.
• Re-photograph vehicles when photos do not meet dealership standards.
• Work closely with Sales, Used Car, Detail, Recon and Management teams.
• Maintain high photo compliance across both dealership locations.
• Help ensure vehicles are professionally presented across the dealership's digital retail channels.
• Follow dealership safety procedures while working around vehicle inventory and traffic.
• Maintain photography equipment and report equipment issues when necessary.
