About The Position

This role oversees the receipt, processing, and proper placement of incoming vehicles. The specialist will inspect and maintain lot operations equipment, safely drive vehicles between designated areas on auction premises, and stage, line up, and park vehicles as directed. Basic vehicle support tasks such as inflating tires, accessing locked vehicles, and jump-starting vehicles are also part of the responsibilities. The role provides support to customers and team members, demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, and coordinates vehicle movement to maintain efficient traffic flow. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

  • 1 – 3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receipt, processing, and proper placement of incoming vehicles
  • Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment to ensure it is safe and fully functional
  • Safely drive vehicles between designated areas on auction premises while following company driving policies and road safety standards
  • Stage, line up, and park vehicles in the appropriate order as directed, and locate or reposition vehicles as needed
  • Perform basic vehicle support tasks, including inflating tires, accessing locked vehicles, and jump-starting vehicles when necessary; report inoperative vehicles to a supervisor
  • Provide support to customers (dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and team members as needed
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety protocols and modeling safe work behaviors
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives and programs aligned with Safety Excellence standards
  • Report any safety concerns, theft, or lot damage to management promptly
  • Coordinate vehicle movement to maintain efficient traffic flow across the lot
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
