About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the charging and readiness of electric vehicles (EVs) within the lot operations. The specialist will monitor charge levels, manage charger schedules, track vehicles approaching critical charge thresholds, and coordinate vehicle movement for charging. They will also support operational departments with EV readiness needs and report on charging trends and utilization metrics. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to perform various physical tasks associated with vehicle handling and lot operations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to walk long distances.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must work at a specified Cox location.
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana not tested pre-employment, but drug-free workplace policies apply).

  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

  • Monitoring charge levels across 1,659 EVs
  • Managing charger schedules and prioritization
  • Tracking vehicles approaching critical SOC thresholds
  • Coordinating vehicle movement on and off charging stations
  • Supporting operational departments with EV readiness needs
  • Reporting charging trends and utilization metrics
