About The Position

Requirements

Supervisory experience preferred, with 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred
CDL required.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Familiar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Excellent verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials and general public; fluent in English
Work extended hours regularly, including Saturday & Sunday
Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Must be 21 years old
Must be able to sit or drive for extended periods while monitoring routes.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach when inspecting roads and removing hazards.
Manual dexterity, vision, and hearing sufficient to operate a vehicle and detect potential hazards.
Work may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or outdoor environments.
Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods during route monitoring.
Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily lot operations and ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for service.
Lead and supervise lot staff, providing direction, training, and performance oversight.
Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers and lot personnel.
Monitor and ensure completion of operator pre-trip inspections.
Coordinate vehicle assignments and communicate updates with dispatch and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with reporting, documentation, and clerical functions as needed.
Identify operational improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Perform other duties as required.
Additional duties as assigned.
