About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a responsible, dedicated Lot Driver for its Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand at Birmingham Airport. This non-CDL, local driving position involves moving and positioning vehicles between properties and designated locations for servicing, transport, and rental. The role focuses on preparing vehicles for customers in accordance with quality standards and offers the opportunity to drive multiple new-model cars. The position pays $12.00 per hour and is located at 5900 Messer Airport Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama 35212. The available schedule is Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
More than one excessive speeding violation, defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit, on the driving record within the last three years disqualifies candidates from consideration.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Transport and shuttle rental vehicles around and between National/Alamo and Enterprise locations at Birmingham Airport.
Drive vehicles from return locations to cleaning or servicing locations.
Drive serviced vehicles from cleaning locations to ready-line locations and park them for customer access.
Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as directed by management.
Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off airport property as directed by management.
Ride with or follow drivers to drop off or pick up vehicles.
Communicate using a two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
