About The Position

CarShop is seeking a responsible Lot Attendant to clean and organize the sales lot during store hours. This is a critical position as this person is responsible for preparing the lot and vehicles for our customers' first impressions.

Requirements

Ability to establish priorities within his/her area of responsibility and problem solve in order to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Team player and an effective communicator.
Valid driver's license.
Exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude.
Able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.
Able to safely drive vehicles both automatic and manual transmission
Good communication skills
Good customer services skills
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedure
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Nice To Haves

Six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Washing and internal cleaning of lot inventory so that all vehicles are maintained in pristine condition for potential customers.
Ensuring that the sales lot is clean and organized - this includes filling "holes" in the lines with appropriate stock.
Preparing sold vehicles for delivery.
Driving vehicles to the gas station to fuel as necessary.
Maintaining the wash trucks, pressure washers and all other equipment and tools.
