At Quixote, everyone on set is a VIP. Job Summary: The Lot Attendant is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service by interacting directly with customers. This position checks in units upon return, shows customers to their rental units, and ensures the rental fleet meets company standards before departure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent job experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
- Ability to stay focused and on task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively with staff members and supervisors.
- Open availability and flexibility to work various shifts and overtime.
Responsibilities
- Ensure each vehicle meets company standards before departure.
- Inspect vehicles for damage and verify assets, including taking proper photographic documentation before rental and upon return.
- Ensure each vehicle has all required DOT and BIT information.
- Confirm that all required safety equipment is in place and current before the vehicle leaves and when it is returned.
- Report all potential new damage for review.
- Assist with the placement of smaller vehicles.
- Wash and clean vehicles as needed.
- Provide professional and helpful customer service.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Report all issues to the supervisor.
- Regularly audit asset keys.
