Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
  • Experience driving a standard transmission vehicle strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, particularly in a dealership or service center environment is a plus
  • Experience with driving various types of vehicles, including trucks preferred
  • Familiarity with basic automotive maintenance tasks, such as tire pressure checks and fluid top-ups a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles to and from various locations, including shop technician work areas and installation sites ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Keep track of inventory, monitoring arrivals and departures, and updating records as needed.
  • Receive vehicles using computerized tablet, note as unidentified and report out status.
  • Arrange vehicles on the lot in an organized manner to maximize space and facilitate easy access.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, directing them to appropriate personnel, and ensuring their satisfaction with the customized vehicles and equipment.
  • Clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles to present them in pristine condition to customers, as requested.
  • Assist technicians with basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as tire pressure checks, fluid top-ups, and battery checks.
  • Ensure the safety and security of vehicles, equipment, and premises, reporting any issues or concerns to management immediately.
  • Assist production and installation teams as needed, including transporting equipment and materials.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
