About The Position

The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the vehicle lot, ensuring vehicles are clean, properly parked, and ready for customer viewing or delivery. This role involves a variety of tasks to support dealership operations and customer experience.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate.
• Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

• Park vehicles in assigned areas in an organized manner.
• Wash vehicles thoroughly.
• Respond to delivery pages immediately.
• Protect appearance of vehicles by utilizing disposable seat covers, floor mats and steering wheel protectants as necessary.
• Catalog and store vehicle keys.
• Assist Merchandising Manager in displaying accurate and current vehicle pricing information.
• Keep vehicle lot clean and free of debris.
• Maintain license plates and lock-box keys.
• Run miscellaneous errands for the store.
• Other duties as assigned.
