About The Position
The Lot Attendant Supervisor is part of Wegmans’ front-end staff and leads employees by example in delivering customer service. The supervisor proactively approaches and offers help to customers, brings in and organizes shopping carts from the outside parking lot, and helps run the register as needed to minimize customer wait times. The role delegates tasks to team members, coordinates with the inside front-end team, and helps maintain efficient daily operations and the safety and appearance of the front end and parking lot.
Requirements
- Customer service experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
- Delegate tasks to team members and ensure efficient daily operations.
- Partner and communicate with members of the inside front-end team so the team assists customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot.
- Bring in and organize shopping carts from the outside parking lot.
- Help run the register as necessary to minimize customer wait time.
- Ensure the safety and appearance of front-end and parking lot areas are maintained.
