About The Position
The lot attendant is responsible for the overall management of our new and used inventory in our lots. This includes maintaining and organizing inventory, working with sales to stock in and move vehicles, and managing all new and used inventory accessories such as books, keys, and codes. The role also involves taking pictures of vehicles for website advertising and keeping the dealership lot clean and organized. The position requires working in various weather conditions, and may include moving vehicles for snow removal.
Requirements
- Maintaining and organizing inventory
- Working with sales to stock in and move vehicles, making room for new inventory on the lot
- Managing for all new and used inventory accessories such as books, keys and codes
- Taking pictures of vehicles on the lot and advertising them on website
- Keep dealership lot clean and organized
- Working in various weather climates/conditions outside
- Other responsibilities may include moving vehicles for snow removal
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds
- A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work outside in warm/cold weather
- Ability to do some heavy lifting (up to 40lbs)
