This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. The role involves conducting emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. Responsibilities include monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorizing and documenting access to secured areas, and assisting guests and employees during emergency situations. The supervisor will respond to accidents, administer first aid/CPR as needed, and gather information to complete reports. Maintaining confidentiality of reports and documents, and releasing information only to authorized individuals are key duties. The role also involves defusing disturbances in accordance with company policies, resolving safety hazard situations, handling interruptions and complaints, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and using proper code responses for assistance are also required. Additionally, the supervisor will provide proper paperwork to employees and assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. This role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, completing safety training and certifications, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards. Anticipating and addressing guest service needs and thanking guests with genuine appreciation are expected. Communication skills include speaking with clarity and professionalism, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also important. The role ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The job involves reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, using computers and point of sale systems, moving at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog), and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are needed for manipulating objects. The role requires moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is necessary. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may be assigned.
