About The Position

This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. The role involves conducting emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. The supervisor will monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas, and assist guests and employees during emergency situations. This includes responding to accidents, administering first aid/CPR, gathering information, and completing reports while maintaining confidentiality. The role also requires defusing disturbances, resolving safety hazards, handling interruptions and complaints, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and using proper code responses for assistance are key duties. Additionally, the supervisor will provide proper paperwork to employees and assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. The job also entails adhering to company policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, completing safety training, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards. It requires anticipating and addressing guest needs, speaking professionally, preparing accurate written documents, answering telephones with proper etiquette, developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and listening to employee concerns. The role also ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The job involves reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, using computers and point of sale systems, moving at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog), and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects, with specific weight limits and the need for assistance for heavier items. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces are necessary. The role also involves moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs or ramps, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may also be part of the role.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 2 years of related work experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
