About The Position

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the hotel's security operations to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid security guard license or certification.
  • Previous experience in security management or supervision.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and regulations.
  • Physical fitness to perform duties, such as patrolling and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of security officers.
  • Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Address disciplinary issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and inspections.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.
  • Assist guests with security-related concerns or requests.
  • Provide a welcoming and secure environment for all guests.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional manner.
  • Identify potential security risks and implement preventive measures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
  • Stay informed about current security trends and threats.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Prepare reports and statistics on security incidents and activities.
  • Manage the department's budget and resources.
