The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. This role involves conducting emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. The supervisor will monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas, and assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Responsibilities include responding to accidents, administering first aid/CPR as required, gathering information, and completing reports while maintaining confidentiality. The supervisor will also defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazard situations, handle interruptions and complaints, and escort unwelcome persons from the property. Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and calling for assistance using proper code responses are key duties. Additionally, the role involves providing proper paperwork to employees, assisting management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, and serving as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. The position requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, completing safety training and certifications, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Confidentiality of proprietary information and protection of company assets are essential. The role also involves welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guest service needs, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Communication skills are important, including speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also part of the role. The supervisor must ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The role requires reading and visually verifying information, visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines, entering and locating work-related information using computers, and moving at a speed required to respond to work situations. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects of various weights, grasping and manipulating objects, moving through narrow or confined spaces, and moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces are also required. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is expected.
