About The Position

TJX Canada is seeking a Loss Prevention Store Investigations Supervisor to lead a team dedicated to reducing theft and fraud within their stores. This role involves training and supporting Store Investigators, collaborating with Store Management and Analytics teams to enhance strategies, and optimizing resource utilization. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of investigation experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • A provincial security license is required in some provinces. Applicants must be licensed under applicable provincial laws before starting and must maintain the license if legally required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, acting as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influencing staff.
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to use relevant technologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Candidates aged 18 and over will be required to undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Guide a team of Store Investigators in daily activities to prevent theft and fraud, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to be effective.
  • Oversee scheduling, labor allocation, payroll, and attendance for the team.
  • Train and develop Store Investigators, setting goals and expectations, reviewing performance, and creating development plans.
  • Work with the Analytics Manager to allocate resources effectively and identify training opportunities.
  • Partner with Store Management to gather feedback and improve Loss Prevention practices.
  • Ensure investigators maintain accurate records of apprehensions and external issues.
  • Share relevant intelligence with Loss Prevention partners and stores.
  • Generate monthly KPI reports to identify trends and provide insights to leadership and field Loss Prevention partners.
