The Loss Prevention Representative is responsible for preventing, detecting, and deterring losses and safety violations. This role involves assisting in first aid emergencies, responding to fire alarms, and monitoring various systems including Access, CCTV, and GPS. The representative will also check and verify associate badges, inspect items exiting the facility, and manage the distribution and return of temporary, visitor, and contracted service badges. Additionally, they will arm and disarm systems, respond to burglar alarms, gather and transport proprietary information for destruction, and distribute access keys. A key part of the role includes observing all associates, vendors, and visitors after hours to their vehicles, identifying potential risk exposures, and communicating with LP Management. The representative will also conduct Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) as part of the substance abuse program and undertake special projects as directed by Loss Prevention Management.
