Requirements

A valid AB Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.
The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.

Nice To Haves

Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
Open availability (considered an asset).

Responsibilities

Maintaining an undercover, plain-clothes presence on the sales floor while blending into the store environment.
Conducting discreet observations to identify and address potential theft, fraud, and mischief.
Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.
