About The Position

The Loss Prevention Manager will ensure the routines and tasks of each Loss Prevention shift are properly completed in accordance with Omni standards.

Requirements

2 plus years of previous Security/Loss Prevention Management experience in hotel setting
High School Degree or Equivalent
Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform professionally under high levels of stress.
Computer skills required

Nice To Haves

Some College preferred
Exceptional people skills preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinating the hiring and termination of all Security personnel in conjunction with the Director of Security.
Ensuring that all Security personnel functions are being properly completed by the Security Department.
Ensuring that shift personnel are properly assigned at all times.
Disciplining Security personnel in conjunction with the Director Security.
Reviewing all reports completed by Security officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
Maintaining a good relationship with all departments within the hotel and ensuring that efficient service is available at all times.
Reporting all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards.
Ensuring that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents, (e.g., losses, thefts, and accidents and acts of violence) incurred by guests and associates.
Coordinating guest room surveillance in conjunction with the Director of Security.
Ensuring that all phases of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Director of Security.
Ensuring that all items of security equipment (i.e., uniforms, walkie-talkies, cameras, etc.) are kept clean and in good working condition.
Monitoring all traffic in the lobby area and restaurant, restrooms, garage area, and room service area to control non-guest (i.e., drunks, prostitutes, vagrants, etc.)
Reporting all associates using unauthorized Hotel entrance/exits when reporting for work or leaving for the day to the Director of Security.
