This role supports a positive customer shopping experience and maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention. The associate understands operational procedures and deters acts of dishonesty within established customer service guidelines. They will provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers, engage customers to provide support and create a positive shopping environment, and act as an effective deterrent to theft through customer engagement and a professional and knowledgeable presence. The role involves observing accurate checkout procedures for customers and Associates, communicating shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention, and maintaining an effective partnership with Store Management and Loss Prevention to accomplish work assignments and overall goals and objectives. The associate will also coordinate and complete shrink-related activities in partnership with Store Management, support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintain confidentiality, encourage Associate use of shrink reduction resources, promote safety awareness, and support maintenance of a safe environment. The role requires following through on commitments, accomplishing goals with minimum supervision, adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.
