Loss Prevention Analyst — Remote Audit & Camera Monitoring
About The Position
Murkez Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Loss Prevention Analyst to join their San Juan operations center, supporting a major US retail client. This is an office-based analytical role, not a security guard position. The analyst will conduct biannual virtual audits of over 2,000 US retail locations, monitor live camera feeds for incidents, support investigations, and provide insights to the client's Loss Prevention leadership team. This role is ideal for analytical professionals from Customer Service, Quality Assurance, or BPO backgrounds seeking office-based audit and investigative work with a stable US employer. There is no field work, in-store presence, or physical confrontation involved.
Requirements

- Must currently reside in Puerto Rico
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Available to work scheduled shifts including some weekends and evenings
- Fluency in English (required)
Nice To Haves
- Background in Customer Service, Quality Assurance, or BPO operations highly preferred
- Candidates transitioning from contact center roles into analytical/audit work strongly welcomed
- Knowledge of loss prevention processes, audit methodologies, or compliance standards is a plus
- Experience with camera software or surveillance systems is a plus, but training will be provided
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual audits of 2,000+ retail stores biannually
- Perform daily camera audits for randomly selected stores
- Verify Incident Reports and Video Requests through camera review
- Support investigations assigned by onshore Loss Prevention managers
- Monitor open safe alerts, trackers, and alarm notifications — escalate immediately to leadership
- Add incident management cases to the client's tracking portal
- Maintain accuracy and excellence in reporting; meet all deadlines
- Attend daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings (virtually with onshore team)
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on audit findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen store compliance and reduce risks
- Perform additional analytical or operational tasks as assigned
