About The Position

Associated Services Inspections, Ltd. (ASI) is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors for immediate openings. ASI has been a premier commercial and residential inspection company since 1981, providing detailed underwriting reports to insurance carriers and underwriters. Inspectors will assess various property types, including commercial buildings, residential properties, and farm & ranch operations, utilizing high-resolution images and clear reporting.

Requirements

• Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius.
• Comfortable with online reporting systems and document uploads.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of commercial insurance loss control inspection experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial property, General liability, and Workers’ compensation.
• Helpful Certifications: CSP, OHST, ALCM, ARM.
• Additional Relevant Skills: Commercial building inspection, Fire and life safety, Industrial or environmental safety, Construction knowledge, Customer service, Online reporting and document handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review all inspection requirements.
• Contact the insured via phone, email, or text to schedule appointments.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, or agricultural properties, assessing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), fire protection and life safety, maintenance and housekeeping, general liability exposures, and property conditions and risk factors.
• Capture typically 20–35 interior and exterior photos per structure.
• Take measurements using a measuring wheel, laser, or satellite measurements.
• Interview the insured regarding operations, building system ages, and risk-related details.
• Update inspection status through ASI’s online platform.
• Complete reports using Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch, including checklists, narratives, and digital photos.
