About The Position

The Loss Control Analyst position will assist BancFirst Operational Security management with operational loss prevention, detection, investigation, and recovery activities. This role involves reviewing, investigating, and resolving daily fraud alerts and reports, developing and maintaining processes to address loss prevention, operational risks, and compliance. The analyst will stay abreast of risk developments, support loss prevention education, assist with risk detection systems, and support bank personnel in minimizing operational risk and losses. Additionally, the role requires interfacing with law enforcement and potentially conducting investigative interviews.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work under limited supervision, with latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Excellent analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must possess the ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment and deal with confidential matters.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Verafin or similar fraud detection software preferred.
Banking or investigations experience preferred but not required.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review, investigate, and resolve daily fraud alerts and reports.
Develop and maintain processes to address loss prevention, operational risks and compliance.
Stay abreast of risk developments that could impact BancFirst or its customers.
Support the formulation and execution of loss prevention education efforts.
Assist with the design and implementation of risk detection or monitoring systems.
Support Bank personnel in their efforts to minimize operational risk and losses.
Interface with law enforcement officials and other external parties.
May conduct professional investigative interviews involving sensitive subjects.
