About The Position
This is a long-term temporary worker position, defined as an employee working 20 hours per week or more for more than 4 1/2 months. This position requires contributions to the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) at the current rate of 8.0% for TRS and 0.65% for TRS Care. Retirees of TRS should contact TRS before applying due to potential restrictions on working hours and annuity benefits.
Requirements
- Student Employment: Recommendation from a District department or campus.
- Student Employment: At least 14 years old and currently enrolled in middle or high school.
- Student Employment: Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Student Employment: Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.
- Adult Employment: Recommendation from a District department or campus.
- Adult Employment: Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position.
- Adult Employment: Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Adult Employment: Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred for all positions.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from recognized, accredited college or university preferred for tutors and/or professional positions.
