About The Position
The Long Term Substitute is an on-call, as-needed position at Knapp Charter Academy. Opportunities to substitute vary depending on teacher absences. The daily substitute rate is $125.00, and this role is not eligible for benefits. The substitute follows lesson plans assigned by the teacher, provides clear instruction, helps scholars understand subject matter, and maintains classroom discipline and control. The role also involves demonstrating moral focus and personal values to stakeholders and applying classroom-management and leadership skills with a passion for educating students. National Heritage Academies partners with communities to build and operate public charter schools.
