About The Position
Teachers Now is hiring Substitute Teachers throughout the Houston area. We are looking for dependable, professional, and motivated individuals who enjoy working with students and want a flexible opportunity in education. Candidates with Special Education (SPED) experience are highly encouraged to apply! We are hiring for General Substitute Teachers, SPED Substitute Teachers, and Long-Term Substitute Assignments in Central Houston, North Houston, Southeast Houston, and the Gulf Freeway area.
Requirements
- 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a classroom environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children or students
- SPED experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as a substitute teacher in various capacities, including general and Special Education roles.
- Provide instruction and classroom management in K-12 settings.
- Build relationships with local schools.
