About The Position

This is a long-term substitute position for a STEM Teacher for middle school students in grades 7 and 8. The role is expected to last from August to October. The teacher will be responsible for creating STEM lessons, maintaining classroom records, and managing the classroom effectively. The position also includes student supervision and other duties as assigned by building administration. This is a non-tenured position.

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with building/district staff to create STEM lessons for 7th and 8th grade students
• Maintain accurate classroom records as required by building administration
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and student rapport
• Attend required meetings, professional development, and trainings
• Provide student supervision as assigned by building administration
• Other duties as assigned
