This is a long-term substitute position for a Social Worker, Psychologist, or School Counselor. Requirements

• Must have certification as Social Worker, Psychologist, or School Counselor (071, 070, 068)
• Strong, effective communication, organizational, and assessment skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment
• Proactive team player
• Dedication to providing a positive and meaningful learning experience for students

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the public school setting preferred
• Experience at the high school level, preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and facilitation of 504 meetings
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, support staff, parents, and outside providers in promoting student success
• Write IEP goals and objectives and implement counseling services
• Develop and implement counseling for groups and individuals
• Participate as a member of the SRBI team and provide consultative services for staff and families
• Participate as a member of the school crisis intervention team
