About The Position
This is a long-term substitute Registered Nurse position at Zion-Benton Township High School for the 2026-27 school year. The role involves providing temporary health and medical coverage, treating injuries, managing illnesses, responding to emergencies, and maintaining student health records.
Requirements
- Must possess or hold an active unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois.
- Complete basic life support training (CPR and AED certification).
Responsibilities
- Provide temporary health and medical coverage at Zion-Benton Township High School while the nurse is absent.
- Treat injuries, manage sudden illnesses and respond to medical emergencies from staff and students.
- Keep track of student health plans, immunizations and office visits.
