About The Position
The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Long-term Substitute Monitor at Fairview High School/Middle School. This is for seven (7) hours per day, starting September 1, 2026 for approximately six (6) weeks.
Requirements
- Educational Student Monitor Permit
- High School Diploma
- Friendly and polite demeanor
- Ability to work well with staff, students and parents as a member of the team
- Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
- Evidence of strong disciplinary strategies for working with students
Responsibilities
- Collaborate, monitor, and report student progress of task completion
- Provide general network of assistance to students
- Communicate to staff on status and needs of students
- Monitor and promote appropriate student behavior in all areas including hallways and work areas
- Maintain accurate written student records including discipline
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by building administrator
