About The Position

Mt Juliet Christian Academy, as a ministry of First Baptist Church Mt Juliet, is seeking a Long Term Substitute Librarian. This role involves performing the duties of the regular staff member as assigned, adhering to all workplace policies and procedures, and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. The substitute will communicate effectively, adapt to different work environments, and report issues or progress to supervisors. A key aspect of this role is supporting and contributing to the Christian mission and educational philosophy of Mt. Juliet Christian Academy, conducting oneself in a manner consistent with the church and school's beliefs, policies, and standards.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must pass background check.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to create an engaging, positive environment for students.
• Ability to work independently while following established curriculum and school procedures.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the church and school.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
• Experience in a school library, classroom, or educational setting preferred.
